Background Information |
John began his career at Ramsbottom Cricket Club in the Lancashire League as a junior player before moving on to play at Greenmount in the Bolton League where he became their leading amateur player. In 1991 he joined Elton as their professional. |
Darren came to Elton from local rivals Darcy Lever where he was voted Professional of year. Darren completed his junior cricket career at Greenmout C.C before spending sometime at Padiham, during which he played a season for Lancashire C.C.C. | Greg (a quiet lad
not!!!!) orginally came from Australia but had been
professional for Leigh for three years in the Liverpool
Competition, having formerly been with Little Lever in
the Bolton League. Greg, a prolific scorer of Runs and
who also describes himself as ' a spin bowler who thinks
he can bowl quick.' Greg was very liked at the club, unforuntaley he had to go back home and he will missed greatly at Elton. |
Tushack comes from India where he is playing first class cricket for Baroda. He is currently captain of Baroda. He is no stranger to English Cricket where he has been Professional for a couple of years. Tushak has come from Royton cricket club where he was professional last year, where he had a great season, he came top of the batting averages scoring 1487 runs at an Avg of 64.67 and he came fourth in the bowling taking 64 wickets at an Avg of 23.10.
